Population

For so many years “experts” have been warning of the disaster awaiting the world due to ‘overpopulation’. They were wrong. Dead wrong. In fact over 20 Western countries are experiencing negative population growth. Soon most of the world will follow. This means that due to:

  • Young people not getting married or getting married late in life
  • Married people having no children or at the most 1 or 2 children
  • Widespread use of Birth Control
  • Global Abortion Holocaust

Our populations are decreasing. This will impact our economies tremendously. Already every year we see schools closed due to insufficient numbers of children. We need immigrants to enter our countries because we don’t have enough workers. We will continue to see poor people leaving their countries to find work in rich countries – further
harming the poor countries.

Many more countries would be experiencing negative population growth if it weren’t for immigration. Financial incentives for having children are increasingly appearing as a response to low birth rate numbers in places like Finland, Estonia, Italy, Japan, and Australia.

Many countries’ populations – if trends continue – will be cut in half by 2100. Japan’s population is projected to fall from a peak of 128 million in 2017 to less than 53 million by the end of the century. Italy is expected to see an equally dramatic population crash from 61 million to 28 million over the same timeframe. They are two of 23 countries – which also include Spain, Portugal, Thailand and South Korea – expected to see their population more than halve. China, currently the most populous nation in the world, is expected to peak at 1.4 billion in four years’ time before nearly halving to 732 million by 2100.

An aging population will put tremendous pressure on health systems while there will be less and less workers to support the aging population. Less people means shrinking economies and less money for social problems. This will impact the poor the hardest. This will also increase pressure to use draconian methods like Euthanasia. Yes, we will
be killing babies before birth through abortion and the elderly by Euthanasia. You reap what you sow.

All of this is occurring because we turned our back on God’s first command – be fruitful and multiply. As Christians we must keep our eyes on Christ – especially when we see storms ahead. Remember – children are a blessing from the Lord – for us, and the nations we live in.
