Mobile Pregnancy Center
Mobile Pregnancy Centers are Pregnancy Centers operating in some type of vehicle which provide many of the services of a Pregnancy Center – usually including the ability to provide ultrasounds. Mobile Pregnancy Centers provide an effective way to reach those in remote locations. Since a Mobile Pregnancy Center is providing Christian ministry, the most important duty it has is to – lovingly and with respect – share the Gospel of Jesus Christ at every opportunity to those they serve and encourage those facing an unplanned pregnancy to choose life.
Mobile Pregnancy Centers can be an extension of an existing Traditional or Medical Pregnancy Center, or it can be its own ministry. Mobile Pregnancy Center ministries are usually run under the direction of a Board of Directors and are either non-profits in the U.S. or NGO’s outside the U.S. They are often supported by a combination of individual donors, churches, grants and sometimes government funds.
Mobile Pregnancy Centers are staffed by a driver and staff member who will provide services, sometimes including a nurse-sonographer. In most Mobile Pregnancy Center models the staff is compensated financially, but having an all volunteer staff is possible. Mobile Pregnancy Centers serve women who want to find out if they are pregnant – so one of the services offered is a pregnancy test – and if the woman is far enough along – an ultrasound.
Services are provided free of charge and may include:

Going mobile brings ultrasounds and the message of Christ and life to pregnant girls and women who may not be able to be reached otherwise.
