There are facts, opinions, statistics – and then there is Truth.
Facts and statistics can be manipulated to fit the opinion of the one who is trying to
convince others of a certain point of view.
Opinions can be stated so forcefully that they seem like facts.
People are often confused, manipulated or led astray by those “leaders” or “experts” who
state that their opinions are “Truth” and that their beliefs are supported by “facts and
statistics”. Falsehoods and outright lies can be supported by “facts” and “statistics”.
Politicians, scientists, lawyers, educators, media commentators – even some Christian
leaders – are masters at manipulating ‘facts’ and ‘statistics’ (and in some cases – Bible
verses) to support their opinions and mislead the masses.
This is especially true when it comes to abortions. Abortions not only kill many millions of
babies but kill and injure huge numbers of women around the world. Abortion providers use
this fact to share their opinion that we need MORE abortions.
Truth on the other hand comes from God. It is Universal. It has nothing to do with opinion.
Truth is eternal and is true now and in the past as well as the future. Truth is true for all
peoples at all times.
See to it that no one deceives you. Test what you hear against the word of God.
Jesus said “I am the way, the truth and the light. No one comes to the Father except through
me”.
THAT is TRUTH!
